BEING EVERYTHING

22

If you are anything like me, you are always creating something, writing something, building something, nurturing something, saving something.

When I was a little girl, my mother use to tell me “Dana, you can’t be all of that. You need to pick one thing and stick to it”.

How wrong my dear mother was.

How boring is that?

I know that I can do whatever I want to do and be whoever I want to be and I can change my mind about all of it at any given time.

I do not need permission to be me. I do not need permission to be free.

One day it is this.

Another day it may be that.

Success for me is doing what I love to do, when I want to do it and how I want to do it.

I am the fountain that never runs dry.

I am full of love and ideas and spontaneity.

One moment I am a lamb. Another, a ferocious lion. Another a sweet and fragile tulip and another a red rose that will prick the snit of of you if you grab me the wrong way.

The wonderful thing about this life is that it is mine and I live just how I dream.

Without apology.
